Built with accessibility in mind, the Comfort has a wide sprung saddle and step through frame for those of us that might struggle a little to throw our leg over a conventional bike frame.

Find me on

The older sibling of our 16” Cheetah, the Comfort has larger 20” wheels and an internally geared rear hub. Keeping the popular step through frame results in better accessibility. We have had great feedback from people with hip issues. This is the best folding electric bike for anyone who struggles to throw his or her leg over a seat.

If accessibility is what you are after, then you will most likely want some comfort too. We have that covered. The shock absorber is mounted mid frame to provide maximum comfort when going over bumps, and the larger wheels give the bike a smoother feeling as you are riding down the road. We opted for a large sprung saddle to increase overall comfort. You will not find better for this price.

Alternate Transport

We know you will never want to get off this folding electric bike, so you will be happy to hear that it comes with our upgraded 12Ah battery as standard. You can ride up to 50 km on a single charge! Tied in with the 20” comforts reliability, this will become your main form of transport and you will rave about it to all of your friends.

The Travel Companion

Need to save space? Within 10 seconds, this electric bike folds down small enough to fit in the boot of your car, no problem. Take it traveling, unfold your bike and explore the area. Knowing that you will glide uphill with ease and comfort, and have the range to glide back to base camp on your new folding electric bike.

So easy to unfold when it arrived! looked exactly like the pictures too. The only thing that bothered me is that it didn't come with a battery powered backlight, and no written manual on how to unfold the bike. I youtubed the video on how to fold and unfold your Dillenger:) I use it everyday to the train station for work and have had it for 2 months now and it is very reliable! Still can't get enough of how adorable it looks sometimes! Once i got use to the power of the accelerator, riding was so easy and smooth. Thanks Dillenger! I don't regret purchasing this bike one bit! :) (Posted on 8/23/2015)

Good value product for around the $1,000 mark. Nice and smooth ride. Suitable for mostly flat riding. If you’re going to be going up hill I’d recommend the Explorer because it is geared. My husband and I own one of each. We’ve never come close to running out of juice. They’re both really good fun. Carol. (Posted on 3/22/2015)

Affectionately named "Bella" - This little goer attracts a lot of attention in my hometown of Coolum Beach and is my sole form of transport. I love the freedom of being able to get into town hassle free and find parking without a problem. Not only is Bella a zippy ride - she is economical, environmentally friendly and conveniently folds up and fits into the back of hubby's car if we head off on a trip away. I have to commend Sam and the Sales team at Dillenger for excellent after sale service and support as I did initially have some issues with the battery. However, the prompt attention by the sales team has me now on the road enjoying all this affordable electric bike has to offer! I highly recommend it as a fun and great way to commute! Hi, I would like to let you know how my life has changed since buying my Dillinger Comfort a few weeks ago. We travel north for winter as I suffer from emphysema and it helps my health. However I still have remained rather dormant as it is very hard to walk very far. Since my bike arrived I have been out and about enjoying the fresh air with my friends. If I want to do a little leg work, I can, and if it gets to hard I rest. The most amazing bike and has been life changing. Thanks again and happy riding.

My husband purchased a Comfort electric bicycle from Dillenger for me . I love it. Instead of my husband going off and cycling alone I can now join him. This wasn't an option before as I have sore knees. We make sure we go cycling together once or twice a week and grab a coffee or some lunch before heading home. (Posted on 6/25/2014)
I can go as fast as I want and anywhere under any weather conditionsReview by Edward Bryant

I bought my Comfort after finding it on an Internet search while skiing in Austria. I live in Wollongong surrounded by bike path. Wollongong is a windy place and the wind can change direction during the day and in the space of a few kilometres. I had a 20+ gear bike, but struggled up hills and into the wind. My bike riding days were grinding to a halt - as I greyed and went bald. I bought the Cheetah to re-invigorate by enjoyment of bike riding. Wow, it is everything I wanted. I can go as fast as I want and anywhere under any weather conditions. I now pass people on the bike path struggling into the wind. The battery that came with the Comfort only gave be grunt power for about 20-25 km although it is getting better as I recharge it. I wasn't going to let this stop me; so I bought another battery, which I strap to the back rack. Now I can go almost anywhere away from the centre of Wollongong where I live. My grandkids live within 11 km and they are now within easy cycling distance. My Comfort gives me a renewed sense of freedom and gets noticed as I zip around Wollongong. I have even contacted my cycling friends to organise some exciting bike rides to places you wouldn't think you could go to on a bike. I love my Comfort.
